LIFE LESSONS FROM BHAGAVAD GITA.

Constant changes in life make stress, anxiety, anger and depression seem inevitable.  This is not a contemporary issue but has existed for thousands of years.

We can draw practical life lessons from India’s precious text, the Bhagavad Gita. You will be able to relate with and analyse current social issues, with past life lessons. Participants will enjoy and be involved in interesting discussions to find solutions helping ourselves and others to better lives.

This course is suitable for overcoming social ills. 

  • A summary of the Gita which has 18 chapters and 700 slokas. 
  • Most of it takes place as a dialogue between Krishna and Arjuna. 
  • They also discussed many of the important philosophical ideas of the time which contains:
     - references to Samkhya philosophy. 
     - battlefield dialogue of Lord Krishna and Arjuna.
     - Arjuna’s confusion, stress, anxiety and depression.                      
  • The main idea is action with detachment (nishkaam karma).
