  • We practice because our body needs it, more so when we are inflexible, lethargic and stressed from everyday life. When you have practised sufficiently we hope to see you teach others as well.
     
  • Class Description
    1. Yoga for Stronger Spine & Muscle (all level/intermediate) – is an all-around series of asanas/advanced asanas (posture) that strengthen the muscular/skeletal system. It acts on the kidney/liver/spleen meridians. It results in better posture, strong bones and tone muscles.
       
    2. Yoga & Energy  (all level/intermediate) - helps to improve the prana (chi or life force or vital energy) flowing through our chakras (energy centres). This relates to our endocrine system and acts on the governor/conception meridians. It brings about a feeling of wellness. 

    3. Restorative Yoga (beginners/all level/intermediate) - helps to achieve physical, mental and emotional relaxation while resting the body with the help of props. It acts on the automous nervous system. It results in balanced thoughts and helps to release tension in the body.
       
    4. Yoga & Breath  (beginners/all level) - is an all-around asana (posture) series with Pranayama (Yoga Breathing) to restore the lungs and to stimulate the prana (chi or life force or vital energy) thoughout the body. It relates to the lung meridian. It results in better focus, less stress and better lung efficiency.  
       
    5. Yoga & Digestion (beginners/all level) - is an all-rounder asana (posture) series to improve the digestive system. It relates to the stomach, spleen, small intestine, large intestine and gallbladder meridians. It results in a balanced state of mind and efficient digestive system.
       
    6. Yoga & Blood Circulation (beginners/all level) - helps to improve the function of the heart and blood circulation of the body. Related to this are the spleen, heart and small intestine meridians. It results in better control of blood pressure and promotes a healthy heart.
       
    7. Hatha Yoga  (beginners/all levels/intermediate) - is the physical form of the whole Yoga practice which is focussing on the asanas (postures) and breath control. The movement of the postures are often at a moderate pace and affects all the meridians. Regular practice helps to increase flexibility and calms the mind
       
    8. Hatha Flow (Vinyasa) - is a consecutive flow of asanas (postures) that links the breath with movement. The postures move at a faster pace affecting all the meridians especially the feet. It results in greater strength and improves cardiovascular fitness. 
       
    9. Yoga & Weight Management - is an all-around series of asanas is to tone up the lower extremities. The movements are fast to increase body's metabolism. Regular practice bring about awareness to the body with long-lasting effects to normalized body's weight. (decrease/increase)
       
    10. Yoga for Neck/Shoulder - is an all-round movement for the proper functioning of the upper extremities. The movements are slow and steady. It results in releasing tension in the neck and shoulder. 
       
    11. Yoga & Backache - is a series of Yoga Sopan asanas for the proper functioning of the spine. The movements are simple, slow and steady.  Regular practice releases tension in the spine and promotes self-healing.
       
    12. Yoga & Mobility of Joints - is an all-round movements to provide mobility to all joints, tendons and ligaments. The movements are slow and explore the full range of motion.  It results in greater awareness of the body and increases flexibility. 
       
    13. Yin & Yang Yoga - is to bring balance between energetic Yang energy and passive Yin energy. The asanas are held for either long duration or short duration. Regular practice helps in the proper functioning of the body with increased flexibility and strength.   
       
    14. Yin Yoga - is to increase the passive Yin energy to balance the excessive energetic Yang energy. The asanas are held for a long period of time to slow down the body and mind. Regular practice helps to increase the flexibility of joints, fascia and calms the mind. 
       
    15. Yoga with Essential Oils - is a fun session combining yoga and essential oils that helps to improve physical and emotional balance incorporating asanas, meditation, affirmation and manifestation to live a balanced, peaceful and exceptional life.

      To ensure that class will proceed, please book class at least 2 hours ahead.
