Commonly known as Yoga Therapy, we labelled our program as Wellness Session because it is not exactly linked to western medical treatment. It is a complementary form of wellness that is ancient and yet effective in tackling modern day issues related to the mind and body (psychooomatic issues)
Yoga is useful for psychosomatic problems. For example, yoga helps to reduce stress which is related to hypertension, heart disease, asthma, depression, gastrointestinal problem, alzheimer, ulcers, migraine, cancer, hyper acidity etc. These issues often show itself physically and mentally by limiting physical movement or stress.
We prescribe a program of simple exercises, simple asanas, breathing techniques, cleansing methods, diet and lifestyle management. It helps the body to recover by looking at the source of the problem. The program helps in pain relief and allow the body's natural mechanism to heal itself. We use movement and poses and elements from Ayurveda, Naturopathy, Anatomy and Physiology and Meridians.
In the east, the body has channels of energy known as Chi (Chinese), Nadis (Indian), Ki (Japanese). Moving these energy helps to nourish the organs and glands and thereby giving you the feeling of wellness. We teach you how to exercise your body effectively.
