Ashtanga Yoga is more than a dynamic style of yoga with a fixed sequence of postures. It was discovered in the 1930s by yoga master and Sanskrit scholar Sri Tirumalai Krishnamacharya and popularised by his disciple K. Pattabhi Jois.
It is a form of hatha yoga that focuses on asana (posture) and pranayama (breath control) in a safe manner. This style of yoga improves physical health, concentration, and energy level. You will gain a deeper understanding before embarking on the primary series.
