Children Yoga 4-7 years old (15 hours)

HELPING YOUNG CHILDREN CONNECT

Children at this stage develop more cognitive skills such as reading, writing, problem solving and recognising symbolic representation, as the size of their brain is at 100%. 

Scientific research shows that children who practice yoga benefit from increase self confidence, self discipline, concentration and  ability to deal with emotions and stress. 

This course focuses on specific themes that support children to grow holistically. Each theme consists of  4 sessions on every Saturday, commencing from the 6th July 2019.

  • Theme 1 (06 - 27 July 2019) : Fun and creativity (Stories, singing,  games and hobbies)
  • Theme 2 (03 - 31 Aug 2019) : Practice patience, focus and mindfulness
  • Theme 3 (07 - 28 Sep 2019) : Balancing energy towards positivity (Anxiety and emotional management)
  • Theme 4 (05 - 9 Nov 2019) : Acts of kindness, respect and gratitude
  • Theme 5 (16 Nov - 7 Dec 2019) : Teamwork, sharing and life skills

  • Yoga asanas (Children Yoga Postures)
  • Pranayama (Breathing exercises)
  • Concentration and Meditation.
  • Yoga Nidra (Yogic Sleep).

  • Yogapoint Singapore is affliated to Yoga Vidya Gurukul and conducts Children Yoga Teacher Training for teachers.
  • Yoga Vidya Gurukul (Yogapoint India) is affiliated to YCMOU, a Government of India University, to run courses.
  • Recognized as a Yoga and Yoga Therapy research organization by University of Pune, a government university.
  • Our mentor and founder of Yogapoint India (Yoga Vidya Gurukul),  Yogacharya Dr Vishwas Mandlik was awarded by Narendra Modi, the Prime Minister of India,  the ‘Outstanding Contribution for Promotion and Development for Yoga’ in 2018. He is also the President of Yoga Association India (Maharashtra)
  • Yogapoint Singapore has signed a memorandum of understanding and cooperation with Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, India in 2018.
  • Yogapoint located at Downtown is easily accessible via a network of trains and buses. 

Fee    :  $ 80 for one theme of 4 sessions.
          :  $ 380 for five themes of 20 sessions.

  • Convenient location; Yogapoint, 3rd floor, 31B Kreta Ayer Rd, Singapore 088998. In front of Kreta Ayer Community Center, 5 minutes walk from Outram MRT station Exit H Dorsett Hotel or 6 mins walk from Chinatown MRT station.
  • Buses 80, 145 stop right in front of our studio.   
  • Car park is available at Kreta Ayer Community Centre. On Sunday per entry parking at Maxwell House.
