A delightful therapeutic combination of Yin Yoga and Hatha Yoga

If your answer is 'yes' or 'maybe', this short course is for you. It helps to improve your overall health by understanding the weakest link in your body. This Yin Yang course teaches you to relax your body and focuses on the therapeutic aspects which are often not explained in traditional yoga books. As the famous adage goes, "Prevention is Better than Cure",  this course helps you to find relief quickly by improving the self-healing qualities of your body.

This course is ideal for people who are new to yoga and yoga teachers alike and is part of the Yoga Therapeutics Course 

 

  • Learn all the Yin yoga poses in relation to regular Hatha Yoga poses
  • Understand when to apply a yin or yang pose to relieve pain or tension that affects the body and mind
  • Understand Yin Yang theory, characteristics and emotions
  • Understand Prana, Koshas and Prana Vayu
  • Awareness of Chinese meridians and the correlation to Thai sen lines and Marma points
  • Sequencing Yin poses according to the meridians,
    - Lungs and Large Intestine
    - Stomach and Spleen
    - Heart and Small Intestine
    - Urinary Bladder and Kidney
    - Pericardium and Triple burner
    - Gallbladder and Liver
  • Anatomy and Physiology
  • Limitation and precaution of a pose
  • Compliment Yoga Sopan, Yoga Trigger Point 1, 2 and Yoga Assisted Stretch course leading to Yoga Therapeutics Course
  • Learn to improve your own health and self-healing qualities of the body
  • Learn diagnostic tools to determine the weakest link in the body
  • Releases tight connective tissue and improve joint mobility for greater flexibility
  • Calms and balances the body and mind, relieving stress in the process
