Hunched back, tight hips, and forward head posture are the common issues people face nowadays, as people spend long periods bending over a smartphone or other devices in this digital age. Sitting for an extended duration will cause our muscles fibers to contract and shorten, leading to tightness and tension in the body, affecting our range of motion. As some of these areas are not easily accessible due to physical limitations, assisted stretching can come in handy. With consistent stretching, our body will then be able to maximize our range of motion, enabling us to live with less pain and increased flexibility.
Besides improving your flexibility and range of motion, stretching with a buddy can help you to enter a deeper stretch than doing it solo. With the assistance of a partner, it allows us to move beyond our natural resistance and to extend our range of motion further.
This 10-Hour Yoga Assisted Stretch course is ideal for anyone who wants to learn the various ways to release tension and tightness in their own body or to help others do so. If you are a Yoga Teacher, this course will impart more knowledge and support to adjust your student's postural alignment effectively.
Upon completion, you will receive a Yoga Assisted Stretch course certification. This course is a component of our Yoga Health and Wellness course (i.e. Yoga Therapy), and fees will be prorated accordingly.
Apart from this course, we also incorporate stretching techniques in our weekly classes (i.e. Yoga Stretch) as well as one-to-one therapy sessions.
