Practice

 

  • We practice because the body needs it, more so when it is inflexible, lethargic and stressed from everyday life. With practice the body can be normalised and transformed. 

  • Class Description:
    1. Yoga & Energy  -  helps to improve the vital energy (prana or chi) that flows to the 7 energy centers (chakras). It develops the physical, emotional and mental balance in the body by working on the 12 meridians related to the organs.
       
    2. Restorative Yoga  - induces relaxation for the whole body. It calms the mind and provides emotional balance. Uses props and long hold times helps the entire body to relax acting on the autonomous nervous system.  It results in balanced thoughts and makes you feel new again.
       
    3. Hatha Yoga - is the physical form of the whole Yoga practice which is focussing on the asanas (postures) and pranayama (breath control). The movement of the postures are often at a moderate pace and affects all the meridians in the body. Regular practice helps to increase flexibility and calms the mind
       
    4. Hatha Vinyasa - is a consecutive flow of asanas (postures) that links the breath with movement. The postures move at a faster pace affecting all the meridians especially the feet. It results in greater strength and improves cardiovascular fitness. 
       
    5. Yoga & Weight Loss - is an all-around series of asanas is to tone up the lower extremities. The movements which are fast is to increase body's metabolism while the movements which are slow stimulates direct access to the fats when energy is required. Regular practice relieves stress related symptoms and bring about greater awareness of the body and diet. 
       
    6. Yoga & Neck/Back Pain with Trigger Point - is an all-round movement for the proper functioning of the spine including the neck. It is both a physical and an assisted workout, working with the person next to you. You will be guided on how you can release the tension in your body quickly.
       
    7. Yin Yang Yoga - is to bring balance between energetic Yang energy and relaxed Yin energy. The asanas are held for either long duration or short duration. Regular practice helps in the proper functioning of the body/mind with increased flexibility and strength.   
       
    8. Yin Yoga - is to balance the excessive energetic Yang energy at the back of the body. The asanas are held for a long period of time to slow down the body and mind. Regular practice helps to increase the flexibility of joints, fascia, calms the mind. 
       
    9. Aroma Yoga & Meditation - is a meditative session combining yoga and essential oils that helps to improve physical and emotional balance incorporating asanas, meditation, affirmation and manifestation to live a balanced, peaceful and exceptional life
       
    10. Yoga Stretch - is a relaxing session for the benefits of those who are tired from excessive workout to clear their lactic acid and for those who needs the flexibility besides a strong body
       
    11. Hatha Yoga Foundation - is a therapeutic session to maintain general health and wellness. The movements are slow and gentle to benefit the joints and allow good blood circulation. It is never too late to pick up a good lifestyle routine.
       
    12.  Prenatal Yoga Preparation - is a special appreciation of an age old practice and is specific for different stages of pregnancy. Simple and holistic in approach. Available in English or/and Japanese language.
       
    13. Traditional Yoga Practice - is traditional form of yoga that helps to develop strength, endurance, stamina for the body. The mind is kept patient, peaceful and focused.
       
    14. Yoga Nidra and Relaxation - is a relaxed way to reduce stress as it promotes deep relaxation. It calms the nervous system leading to less stress and better health.
       
    15. Gentle Yoga - is a slow and gentle to tone the muscles and joints.  It helps to destress the mind making it balanced, peaceful and focused. 
       
    16. Yoga Core Stretch - is a gradual workout on the abdominal muscle using Yoga poses. It is a fun way to increase core strength, vitality and flexibility. 
       
    17. Yoga - Rope Mallakhamb - is a vigorous exercise workout for those seeking excitement and challenges with a special rope from the ceiling. It builds a sense of fearlessness, confidence, concentration and positive constructive attitude.  
       
    18. Meditation -Discover the different Yogic, Osho Meditation Techniques, Chime that brings you relaxed, inner and allow you to be grateful in that space and moment. 
       
  •    We welcome children, young and seniors alike, as yoga is for everyone. Schedule for courses are separate and not reflected here.
     

- Unlimited lessons membership is at a promotional rate of only $50/month.

You may also pay cash at the studio.   

- Ad hoc drop in, is without any membership.
You may drop $15 cash in the contribution box located at the display cabinet.
Please make a one time registration and 'Book Now' the selected class to ensure a mat. 

- Complimentary is for volunteers and TTC students. Please book the class accordingly.
